New Amazon Rules... supposedly? what is going on!
Really long winded but I HOPE someone can shed some light into this.
I have been selling on Amazon Prime for a long time now, and I have had no issues.
However…
In the last week, I have had 2 problems when purchasing shipping in bulk on Amazon. When purchasing for example 20 orders on Amazons Buy Shipping in bulk, I have had no problem when selecting all 20 and clicking the “Buy Shipping” button. All 20 orders have come into the Buy Shipping In Bulk page, checked all orders and clicked “Buy Shipping”. As people will know, once they are purchased a new tab opens with all the labels. When importing these labels into my system, only 19 labels have imported. I check the PDF file with the labels on, and at the bottom of the file it says “List of orders with successful label purchase”, this is fine. But underneath that it says "List of orders with error in Label purchase… this has happened twice to me in the last week. The order then automatically gets marked as dispatched as I bought through Bulk, but there is no label? there is no option to reprint this label on the Order Details either, or even “Refund for Purchased Label” button…
After countless hour long phone conversations with Seller Support on the phone, Live Chats and Emails, nobody has given me an answer. The order shows the item was dispatched OUTSIDE of Amazon with a Third Party shipping, which it clearly hasn’t as the PDF File shows there was an error in purchase, but doesn’t tell me what or why, and lets me go ahead and buy the shipping anyway.
The technical team says the PDF file that I sent them which has the error displayed is not enough evidence.
The first order was for 1 item and quantity of 1… now this has happened again today, for 2 different items under 1 Order ID and a total quantity of 10.
So after being on the phone for 57 minutes, this is what they have said…
I have been told that I am not allowed to purchase shipping in Bulk for a Prime Order if the order has more than 1 item in it. So for example if someone was to purchase a roll of labels from me, one in black and one in white, even if it is under 1 Order ID I have to ship these separately as they are two different items?!
Up until now I have never had this issue at all with buying shipping on Amazon Prime, but now my metrics are also going to be affected for this which I had no clue of? Somebody bought 4 different items from me under 1 Order ID and I managed to buy shipping for that fine? This was 2 weeks ago. So surely this is not the case?
As the first issue I had with this exact same problem it was for 1 item… So I am absolutely baffled as to what could be the problem.
Nobody on seller support can even understand me or just hands me over to somebody else and I’m going round and round in circles! I wouldn’t care too much if it wasn’t metric affected but this is showing i’m shipping outside of Amazon when I clearly have a file that shows there has been 2 errors when purchasing my labels!
If I am to make sense to anybody, please shed some knowledge or advice. I am going insane trying to get to the bottom of this

I’m afraid I don’t have any advice, but I wanted to post as I feel your pain - I can’t believe they won’t accept THEIR OWN pdf report as any kind of evidence there is a problem.
The only thing I can suggest is to keep trying, you may eventually get through to someone who will understand and take action. This seems to be the only method to resolve issues when you get this kind of response, which is very very common on this platform. There is a very clear and distinct lack of consistency in the responses from Seller Support with different reps providing completely contradictory answers on sometimes very serious subjects.
Sorry for your troubles and good luck in getting to the bottom of it!

You purchase postage for each order, not each item.
I’ve just done it not so long ago today without a problem.
As for your other issue, I can’t help, as I’ve never come across it.

Hi, I recently had the same problem. This error usually occurs when the delivery address for one of the orders is either out of your shipping rules or it is in a country where your selected courier service for prime doesn’t deliver or the address is incorrect. I hope this helps. Thank you

I think you found a loophole. But unfortunately they have patched it so you are basically screwed.
“The technical team says the PDF file that I sent them which has the error displayed is not enough evidence.” Of course, I think you need to find Kika.

This could be an order cancelled by the customer. We have ao many we printed and post and come back as customer cancelled or the driver cant scan it and returns it as it was cancelled.
I hope they make it easier

I have experienced similar issues while exporting directly on Click and Drop system ,difference there is it does not count them as labelled and paid etc so once i notice the issue i can chnage the details and upload again on its own etc.
I have come across this issue in various ways , once it did not like a 1 word name so if no surname it just messed up , and as someone else suggested if something like international orders do not meet your shipping conditions , i have also seen weird international addresses simply mess up , at end of day there are plenty of addresses that do fail on Royal Mail C+D as i have seen it first hand , so i am guessing amazon is having this issue but not picking up on it and thus putting it through as done etc.
