New Photo's have coincided with reduced sales
Hllo,
I am a relatively new seller on FBM; having launched in late Feb. I have yet to promote my brand/products online because I wanted to improve my ini9tial photography submissions and work hardr on keywords and text.
My products are seasonal, heavily skewed towards the xmas period.
Most products are also listed on other marketplaces, but I wish to develop my Amazon sales.
Anyhow, I have been steadily picking up sales over recent months. However, about 2 weeks ago I replaced the initial images with new ones, following a photoshoot. Since then, sales have totally dried up.
I am worried the new images are not good enough, or I have missed something.
Is there any rationale for the system not generating sales following new image submissions, or should I be worried that the images are not quite right for consumers?
I was hoping to start promoting in June, but am worried that this will not work now that sales have dried up.
Any advice would be most welcome, whether critical or otherwise!
Thank you
Gordon

Could you post some examples here, to see if anything is wrong?
Amazon has very strict requirements regarding product images, the background needs to be white and there shouldn’t be any text or graphics.
Listings with non-compliant product images may get suppressed from the search results.

Your new photos are lovely, with white backgrounds, but unfortunately the addition of fruit and glasses is against policy.

The pictures don’t have white backgrounds, include gray shades and additional accessories.
Your products need to be pictured in the correct quantity and take up the most of the image, they cannot be so tiny.
