Online chat e.g. LiveChat for pre-sale a helping hand for customer?
Dear all, I have LiveChat up and running for potential customers to ask questions before they buy, I understand there is Q&A in Amazon platform but I felt it’s a bit static and non-interactive. I wonder how can I leverage this kind of tech on Amazon Seller to provide good customer service even before people become my customer? Thanks a lot for any suggestions (even just telling me my thinking is totally wrong from a business point of view. )

Probably a good idea from a business point of view if you can man it pretty much all the time with someone knowledgeable (possibly outsource?), but there’s currently no way to set that up on Amazon.
You could use your own website for the live chat and drive traffic to it with google and facebook ads? On the documentation supplied with the product you can also supply your website.
But you’re not allowed to:
- Put the live chat code on your Amazon listing
- Direct customers from your Amazon listing to your website
- Direct customers to your website through messages on Amazon’s platform

having live chat on amazon is a good idea,as customers are able to chat to sellers and then ask them questions before buying their items.
