Paying UK VAT from the USA
Hi. I am based in the USA and started FBA Amazon Europe. I don’t do a huge volume of sales so I’m filing my VAT myself. That has been fine. Paying the VAT has been a huge issue. I cant do any of the payment methods on the HMRC website for those are for payments made within the UK. I’ve been messaging them repeatedly and either they don’t respond or they respond with a method that doesn’t work. They are sending me plenty of notices with late fees demanding I pay it. Are there any other sellers out there based in the USA that are paying VAT to The UK and how are you making your VAT payments?

Can you not just make a bank transfer into their account. Most banks allow international transfers.

How do you collect the Amazon pound payment to your US bank account?
If you are using payment account e.g., Payoneer, they allow you pay 5 marketplace VAT directly from your Payoneer account by simply fill your VAT number, company name and the amount to pay
