Please help: A just created account is deactivated, and no reply from Amazon seller support

Hi,

We created an account 1 week ago, this is the first time we have create a sell account on amazon.

But after 3 days, our account is deactivated, the detail reason is still unclear to us. We even did not add any product to this account yet. The monthly membership fee has been deducted from our credit card.

We have made an appeal from Performance Notifications->Reactivate your account, but did not get any reply. See attached screenshot.

If we send fill in a form from Help–>contact us, then the case is immediately automatically closed because our account is deactivated.

Amazon does not have any online chat function, nor support phone number, so we do not know how to contact with Amazon to solve this issue, please help, thank you very much.

Yours is one of many, many and many posts. You are being verified and it could take months. If you read other posts on the forum you will see what I mean

Maybe use the time to make sure your familiarise yourself as much as possible. You will not learn it all in one go but it will give you a head start

The advice given by Kevanden is good. Selling on Amazon is difficult and the road is unevenly paved. You need to be organised and professional, so spend the time now reading everything you can on Seller University. Also, go through the sellers’ forum with a fine toothcomb and try and learn from the problems others have experienced when not understanding Amazon’s rules & systems, which can be strange at times. Forgive us coming back on this, but the screenshot you posted suggests that the deactivation might be because Amazon think your account is linked to another Amazon account. That’s an entirely different issue to simply waiting for verification. The part in Dutch speaks of “alle accounts die zijn afgedwongen vanwege schending”.

After asked my colleague, I knew that we used to have an account in 2015, but we also did not sell any product, and we have requested amazon to close that account in 2015.

**When we tried to login this account, it shows this information, which means that that old account is indeed closed. **

We are glad if Amazon can reply anything back to us, but since 11, Sep, Amazon does not reply any of our email or appeal submission any more.

So we even do not know what we should do in the next step, just wait?

Same is going on with us. Our account has been deactivated two times within a month and their issues are unclear.
This is our first online business and we are disappointed with the Amazon to keep suspending our account.

As BonChoixUK suggested, we tried to re-active the old account, after we login the account, it shows this screen.

And if we click Register button or help button on the upper right corner, it will refresh the page, and shows the same content.

If we click Return to login, then it will return back to login page. It seem that there is no way to active this account any more.

The old account we created in 2015 useds another email address, post address, company id (KVK number) is also different. Only the company name is the same.

So there is no contact phone number, or online chat, or any other support email at all for selling support?

This is really bugging me, i have nothing else to do at the moment!!! So I want to try to help you get to the bottom of it, like all the other posters.

Can you answer the following questions.

  1. You old first account from 2015. I see you say it was under the same company name but different EMail etc. Can you clarify, was this a business buyer account only, or did you have/or apply for a selling account? This is really important as it is confusing.

  2. I am taking the word of BonChoixUK, who is convinced that the part in Dutch indicates you had a previous selling account. Can you add anything specifically to this or at least post what the Dutch bit does say in English.

  3. Shrewsbury Marine asked you…was the original 2015 account suspended or did you ask for it to be closed
