Prime item but item not showing as delivery to customer next day but instead 4 days later
Amazon is asking all Prime sellers to ship items via next day whether DPD UK or Royal Mail however many many, almost all items we believe are not showing this to receive next day to the customers, instead 4 days or more later estimated delivery!? The same on ALL the delivery estimates once the customers place the orders of when to dispatch and when to receive. Causing confusion and conflict for customers also.
This will obviously put thousands of customers off ordering prime even if the badge is displayed as it is confusing and conflicting info. Why is this and how to fix please? Amazon have no answers. I have also tried logging in and viewing the same listing page with a personal prime account and the same issue occurs.
Any advice please as to why and how to fix?? Also nothing to do with cut off times we have checked.
TIA

All of our Seller Fulfilled Prime items say 2 days for delivery (which would be 4 days on a Thursday as they don’t include the weekend). It’s been like this for a couple of months, around the time they stopped us using Royal Mail 48 for second day orders.
“Get it Mon, 27 Jan. with FREE delivery.”

Asked Amazon and here is the reply;
Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
As per your email, I understand your concern where your listings showing longer estimate delivery time.
Upon research, I found that your Premium Delivery Eligibility has been revoked because your On-Time Delivery Rate has been decreased to 96.8% which is below the target rate. You can confirm the same via below link :
https://sellercentral-europe.amazon.com/performance/eligibilities?ref=sp_st_nav_sphelgb
Please know calculation of metrics is an automated procedure and cannot be rectified by removing such defects from the account.
However, as per my research, I found that it can be reinstated by appealing for an exception from the seller performance team.
I would request you to write a plan of action and submit it to the seller performance team at the below mentioned email address from your registered e-mail ID
"seller-performance@amazon.co.uk"
The plan of action needs to be divided into two parts:
- a root cause analysis of the performance issues
- a plan to address these issues within a defined time period
The seller performance team will review your information and will reinstate your Premium Delivery Eligibility accordingly.
Once your Premium Delivery Eligibility get reinstated, your listings will be eligible for One-day shipping and/or Two-day shipping.
I am confused now, what is the difference between Prime & ‘Premium Delivery Eligibility’???
WE ARE SHIPPING ALL PRIME SHIPMENTS INCLUDING PRIME STANDARD ORDERS, VIA BUY SHIPPING LABELS PURCHASED ON AMAZON VIA DPD OR ROYAL MAIL 24, NEXT DAY!!!
NO IDEA WHY OUR RATE IS SO LOW STILL IF THIS IS THE CASE, DOESN’T MAKE ANY SENSE!
Please can somebody help & advise?

RM24 is a 2-day service.
RM48 is a 3-day service.
The above is what my Royal Mail account manager told me.
SFP has always been 2 day delivery.
Premium delivery is for non-Prime members, Prime is for Prime members.
The difference is Amazon handles customer service for Prime, and the sellers does for Premium Shipping.

Prime hasn’t been soley next day for some years. I ordered around 200 items before Xmas and I’d say 10% were 2,3 or even 4 day delivery. Not SFP either - actual Amazon by Amazon inventory.
It’s getting pretty bad whilst still being an amazing service all at the same time!
Overall over 90% of items (and I really do order a serious load every single week / day) next day - often less than 24 hours is pretty amazing.

Wait until you notice the fact that your Prime badge disappears on Thursday from the main product page and only reappears Sunday evening/Monday.
