S&L Enrolment Not Working for New Tiers (March 1st Changes): Std Envelope 460g, Large Envelope 960g, and Extra-Large Envelope 960g

Has anyone noticed that they are unable to enrol items into the following new size/weight tiers in S&L:

  1. large envelope 960g
  2. extra-large envelope 960g

I have tried to enrol several SKUs using the web form on Seller Central and I get the same error message each time: INELIGIBLE * The package weight does not meet the criteria for Small and Light.

These new tiers are to take effect from March 1st 2023 we are told, although it seems Amazon have not updated the enrolment form to account for the increased weight limits.

Hello @Lucy_Amazon

I believe the problem we are experiencing is a systemic error affecting all sellers, and it is associated with the the recent changes that were made to the FBA fees.

I have opened a case with SS, case ID: 8470809492, although the person I spoke to wasn’t aware of the new tiers, which is not a good start…

Are you able to notify the relevant team to have this looked at please?

This is an urgent issue for us, as currently we have many SKUs we would like to enrol in S&L but are unable to, meaning we are being charged much higher FBA fees than we should be. Like I said, it appears to be a problem with your system.

Hi, we are having the same issue. Can not enrol item in S&L even though it fits into the criteria.

Hi @Lucy_Amazon,

We have received a response from SS, but the response is poor unfortunately.

I’m not sure if you are able to view our case details? But there still seems to be a lack of understanding of the issue even though you have followed up with them.

Can you recommend any further course of action?

It seems that what needs to happen urgently is for the relevant technical team to be informed of the issue so that they can fix it (it is a software issue presumably). But we have received no indication from SS that they have taken this initial step yet, which is worrying.

Hi there,

I am also having this exact issue for 3 ASINS in the 460g envelope bracket.

Example ASIN details are as follows: 28.8 x 19 x 2.5cm, 440g, £7.99. Error message: “INELIGIBLE - The package weight does not meet the criteria for Small and Light.”

My guess is that the system has not taken into account the new weight brackets over 400g.

I would open a case with seller support but i fear they may take it as a remeasure request and cubiscan a fridge by mistake.

@Maja_Amazon are you able to raise this internally as I know you have been handling related cases on the forum?

Thanks,
Thomas

Hi All
Had same issues, but looking at the new rate card the 460g plus sizes are not available until 15 May 23 ?(there’s a small disclaimer in the small print). Will put the date in my diary

We are having issues with S&L and standard fba fees after update.

SAME ITEM - SAME DIMENSION - ONLY COLOUR DIFFERENCE.

Example for standard below.

BLUE COLOUR: FBA FEES £7.47
YELLOW COLOUR: FBA FEES £5.64

Confused.

They are not available yet, if you look at the rate card https://m.media-amazon.com/images/G/02/Website/SOA/Website/220225-FBA-Rate-Card-UK.pdf the new size/weight tiers have a little 4 next to them and at the bottom it says - This fee will be available on May 15th 2023

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that this morning it has allowed me to enrol 3 ASINS into the 460g category for S&L. If you haven’t already please give it a go and hopefully it allows you to enrol to.

Happy Friday!

What are the dimensions ?

If they are within -

Large envelope ≤ 33 cm x 23 cm x 4 cm960 g
Extra-large envelope ≤ 33 cm x 23 cm x 6 cm960 g

Try enrolling them in standard fba and then go to the enrollment page and add the sku here
