Selling privileges removed because of linked account
Hi,
I have just set-up a new Seller account and after 7 days my selling privileges have been removed because of ‘a linked account that is not allowed to sell in Amazon.’
Background
I was made redundant a few months ago, during that job I set up an Amazon account for the employer and used my credit card initially. The account traded well and kept within the Amazon performance requirements. 2 months after I left the company Amazon removed their selling privileges as they failed to deliver many orders.
It seems that my credit card it still linked to my previous employers account. I have tried to appeal and keep getting a flat no.
Does anyone know how I can get the link of my details with my previous employer’s account removed?
Thanks

Done deal now sorry. They will not reinstate you.

Unfortunately I think it unlikely they will. They have your credit card linked to an Amazon account that was kicked off. Now that they have made that connection, your address and email will also be linked. You can keep trying but it might be worth trying other platforms.
It seems unfair, but it is their rules and their house.

I would advise you to post the original suspension notice in full.
It sounds like you were not suspended for maintaining multiple seller accounts, but for being linked to an account, which may not be used to sell on the site.
In order to get your account reinstated, the employer’s account would have to get fixed first. You won’t be able to successfully appeal unless the linked account’s supension is lifted.

You left your card details on someone else’s account even after you were made redundant??
Anyway - no sorry - they won’t let you start another account as you are linked to a suspended account.

Amazon will require issues with the original account to be resolved before they even consider an appeal for your second account, if you can’t resolve those issues that caused the suspension, then no point even thinking about your second account issues.

Hi
go to your bank or card issuer " NOW" and request immediate cancellation of the card and stop all transactions that are pending, then request a new card with different details on be issued.
Failing that try another card issuer for a new card

Thanks All for your comments.
Yes it was naive on my part to use my personal credit card details. I had removed my credit card as the primary card before I left.
I feel this is very unfair as I have bought stock to sell on the market place and set-up systems to start selling! I have nothing to do with the old account and the link to my details should be removed.
I do not want to communicate or speak to the old employers as they are a bunch of #XSS&RS, so that option is out of the question

Hello,
We found that your account is related to an account that may not be used to sell on our site. As a result, you may no longer sell on Amazon.co.uk, and your listings have been removed from our site.
Please ship any open orders. If you have funds in your account, they will be available after any amounts paid for A-to-z claims or chargebacks on your orders have been deducted. This usually takes about 90 days, but funds may be held longer.
You can see your balance and settlement information in the Payments section of Seller Central. If you have questions about those, please send an email to payments-investigate@amazon.co.uk.
If you want to appeal this decision, please follow this link:
Sincerely,
