Seven Pillars of Wisdom 'banned' (but not quite)
Just received an Amazon email informing me that 4 of my listings of T.E. Lawrence’s modern classic ‘Seven Pillars of Wisdom: A Triumph’ have been removed from the catalog because they violate Amazon’s content guidelines for books
but dont worry kids - you can still buy the book as an Amazon Audiobook or as a Kindle edition (or in 50+ other editions where a Prime copy is available)
you couldnt really make this up could you?

Same here. And also checked to see if it’s still available on Kindle. It is. Astonishing. Speechless. When are they going to ban the Old Testament. Or have they already?

Same here. My 4 copies were all sold on Amazon more than 12 years ago.

There are still quite a few editions available on Amazon, including some Cape 1st editions, but nowhere near as many sellers on them as you might expect.
There was an earlier thread about certain of Lawrence’s books being banned but I can’t remember what the issue was.
Was it simply Amazon bots picking up on certain ‘naughty’ keywords or maybe it was a rights issue?
