Sfp evri issue
Hello,
How do I switch off EVRI as a courier for my SFP? Evri is totally useless and I prefer to deal with Royal Mail and Amazon Shipping and will happily pay double for these labels as every order I sent with EVRI for SFP is always late, the drivers don’t turn up or they turn up way before collection window and get grumpy then I’m forced to give them my parcels and they never come back to collect the rest! Basically, AVOID EVRI for SFP, great for international though

We are not enrolled with Evri,
but we have had several events over the last couple of weeks, where amazon decide that Tracked24 will not get to a customer in BS, BN, PO postcodes and Evri should be used instead.
We think it is a gap/error in Amazon’s postcode database as the addresses should be servicable via amazon shipping as well.
But each time we try to discuss it with seller support we get the same email telling us that we should use Evri - we explain that Evri are not an option for us and there is nothing wrong with RoyalMail for those destinations and we would like an exception applied to our metrics when we have to buy-shipping for RoyalMail from outside of our Amazon account. - and of course they tell us that an exception is not available as we must use evri . . . . .
Seller support say we can take the amazon sfp evri labelled parcels to a parcel shop - but other sellers have said otherwise.

Unfortunately you can’t
Amazon uses some background algorithm, to which we are not privy to the details, to determine if a courier will deliver on time. You can setup a preferred courier, but if Amazon reckon they will not deliver on time then they will offer up an alternative.
Ive said it before - any data Amazon are using will always be behind real world scenarios. If a depot was busy yesterday (staff shortages etc) it may not be today.
All you can do is extend your cutoff time and try buying labels again. Sometimes this works. If not, and you do not have too many, get them directly from Click & Drop instead. As long as 98% are bought via Buy Shipping you will be ok.

Yesterday on the other SFP thread ,I asked the new SFP user if they had set up a carrier account before starting the trial.
I also asked if Amazon could override the carrier I had selected and my shipping temp plates ,and just chose any random carrier they wanted .
How can this work if its true ?
So many threads on this subject @Winston_Amazon @Julia_Amazon not sure what to do .

You can’t not use EVRI, Amazon force you to and for those doing SFP who are currently not being forced to use EVRI it’ll come pretty soon. I guess there has been some kind of deal done between the two companies.

Evri are now a preferred carrier for prime but you can omit carriers in your settings. Point of fact, for us anyway is this
Evri fail 2%
royal mail fail 28%
DPD fail 15%
Amazon will not collcet form us due to out location
Evri are the largest parcel carrier in the UK so its stands to reason they will seem to have the worst rep but you do not have to use Evri, if your signed up with DPD you can choose them, same with Royal Mail If you do not have accounts with them then evri may be your only choice

We are having a nightmare with this… every Saturday morning we have orders that say we must use Evri… and delivery is expected on Sunday.
- We do not have an Evri Account/Collection.
- They are not one of our preferred couriers.
- Evri do not deliver them on the Sunday.
I’ve even checked orders at 11pm on Friday night and it will say Evri delivery expected on Saturday!
Seller support insisted I had no Evri Orders and it was Amazon Shipping Next Day.
All 6 of these orders would only allow shipping by Evri…

We’ve had this issue as well, and have launched several help cases to no avail. The Amazon staff dealing with the help centre just don’t understand the issue. We get round this by removing any Evri items from the bulk buy shipping, and instead use Royal Mail Click and drop outside of Amazon. We then copy the tracking number and confirm the shipment through the usual channel and it all gets put in the same RM bags and collected at the same time. It’s not an ideal solution by any stretch, but considering we have to drop the Evri parcels off to the nearest drop off site, it’s a much better option for us. It’s a maddening issue that has sent us round in circles repeatedly with Amazon ‘help’ staff.
