Tracking Number versus Tracking ID

I’ve had a notification that my Tracking rate has dropped to 95%. Checking the report I see valid Tracking ID = YES

on 12 orders

and Tracking Number = NO

on those same orders

What’s the difference . . . when I dispatch, I copy in a valid Tracking ID from DHL, as far as I can tell thats the only information I need to put in . . .
I’ve done this for all my orders, 140+ orders to date and I despatch everything with DHL Express.

Why have 12 of my orders been highlighted like this and caused my Tracking rate to drop ?

Its a hard one to answer, as we can only guess

One column is actually “Has Valid Tracking Number” this will all display no, its why its on the report. Presumably it means Amazon have not been able to automatically verify the tracking

The other column is “Has Tracking ID”, as long as this says yes, and the tracking number in the “Tracking ID” column is correct then you should be fine, Amazon have said they will validate the numbers in the background before they suspend any offers.

Many people on the forums here have been operating with a VTR of much lower than 95% since the whole VTR fiasco began, I myself only have a VTR of 65%, however I know all my codes are genuine, and its just Royal Mail not scanning them, or Amazon not realising Royal Mail have scanned them for whatever reason. I still get the emails etc, but just have to go on good faith that Amazon will hold up their end of the bargain and not suspend me
