Transferring my seller account to my son
Hi Guys it was my understanding you could transfer you’re seller account within you’re family however I was told by amazon seller support that I in fact connor do this does anyone have any experience with this and if they do could you please give me a brief explanation on how exactly I go about doing this to ensure the account dosent get suspended I want the account to be in his name and have his bank account linked

How are you registered at the moment ?
Sole trader or ltd ? And what is your son ?
And what are your trademarks registered as ?
If ltd, it should be easy enough to transfer
If sole traders, not sure if this is the best way - others may know of a better way, maybe he could join you as a Partnership, trade together for a while until he learns the ropes and gets through reverification, then change back to sole trader - him only

I am looking to begin the transfer in 2 weeks once my son turns 18 just wanted to make sure I have everything needed and know the proccess before I start

Okay so shall I contact Amazon before anything and let them know I will be having a change in ownership for the LTD and my son will be taking full control of the company and if they approve I should go ahead and change the owner ship and regarding the bank accounts after I make the LTD change is it relatively easy to get the bank account disbursement information changed

Simplest way I would have thought is to make your son a director of your existing company let all that go through and then at some point in the future resign your directorship and make your son the beneficial owner of the company.
Is your trademark registered to your limited company? If so then there is no need to change the owner of the trademark as eventually your son will own the company anyway.
