[Urgent Action Required] Please review Royal Mail Shipments Tracking
Apologies as I know questions have been asked about this subject recently as many others have received this email but my situation is slightly different to those hence asking just to confirm.
I use Royal Mail --> Stamps/Franking, and when I go in Performance --> Account Health, VTR is showing as 100% (1 out of 1 order), that one order was for next day delivery which I did sent via Tracked 24.
Now not sure why I am getting this email as my VTR is 100%, have they changed the policy where they won’t allow stamps/franking?

My VTR is currently showing N/A as I confirm orders as 1st/2nd franked stamped. However, I have just received a notification with the following statement that my VTR is below 95% (when it isn’t).
Your account health is currently at risk given your valid tracking rate is below 95%.
We have identified that you are using a Royal Mail ship method and not providing tracking information per our announcement earlier this year.
It is important to note:
i) We require parcel IDs or tracking IDs for all Royal Mail ship methods, including delivery confirmation ship methods, such as Royal Mail 24®/48® and Royal Mail 1st and 2nd class small and medium parcel. If you are using a Royal Mail product that does not have a 2D barcode, please ensure you contact your Royal Mail account manager, or contact Royal Mail here : https://business.help.royalmail.com/app/contact.
It may take up to 10 days to have these services set up.
ii) If you’re using 1st and 2nd class large letters: you should contact Royal Mail directly to set up Royal Mail 24®/48®, which will provide a delivery confirmation for all large letter deliveries. You will not be able to confirm delivery of an order using a Royal Mail 24®, Royal Mail 48®, 1st class or 2nd class delivery method unless you provide the parcel ID. Please see our VTR help page for further information on how to upload tracking information here : https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/G201817070.
iii) If you’re shipping letter sized products (100 g, 24 x 16.5 x 0.5 cm) and you are not eligible for Royal Mail 24/48: please select either Royal Mail 1st or 2nd class Stamps/Franking from the drop-down.
iv) If your parcels are not scanned: Amazon will validate all unscanned tracking IDs with Royal Mail, including Royal Mail 24/48 and 1st/2nd class, and where you have correctly provided valid tracking, your offers will not be suspended for items not scanned by the carrier. You may also consider using Buy Shipping, which allows you to buy shipping labels through the Seller Central interface. You can link your Royal Mail account to benefit from your own rates and all tracking IDs received by Amazon through Buy Shipping are considered valid. For more details on how to use Buy Shipping, see the Use Buy Shipping services help page: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/G200202220.
Please find further information on our VTR policy and other FAQs here : https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/G201817070.

for one of you to have n/a and the other to have 100% surely this must be an incorrectly sent email
@Jessica please can you look into this

Unless of course …
My RM account manager did say that Stamps/Franking was only a temporary measure
maybe they are taking it away for Large Letters and Parcels - it does state on their policy that stamps/franking is only for letters ?!
Seller_chd1JS0xFJV6T
Help page still says this.
The following items are not included in the Valid Tracking Rate calculation:
- Domestic packages delivered with untracked delivery services/delivery methods (e.g. stamps/franking)

Out of interest, does your account health actually show ‘at risk’ on your dashboard - like the email is claiming ?
And have any of you that have had this email recently ticked the Royal Mail 24 and 48 box on the new automated shipping settings? That would explain how they know you are using it instead of stamps/franking

Yes I got the samer email and ignored it again. I do not like having to ship something one way and being told to lie to the customers and tell them I shipped it another way. This goes against all that Amazon say they want, to keep the customer honestly informed and then here we are having to lie everyday to those same customers because Amazon tell us too.

Not had this email thankfully and my VTR is currently N/A
This is possibly the worst time of the year to receive this type of communication, we are just about to go into peak season and this is the time that every seller needs to be concentrating on getting orders out. There will be many challenges this year with lack of stock available from suppliers, challenges with fuel and possible long delays with Royal Mail no one needs the extra stress of any kind of suspension hanging over their head.

I just spoke to RM account manager and it looks like Amazon have changed the policy…large letters will no longer be allowed to be shipped under stamps/franking. They require 2d barcode and delivery scan. Stamps / franking is changing to letter only. Apparently.

I don’t know. I imagine when you choose on C&D whether it’s a large letter or letter they will know? And you won’t be able to choose the wrong one via RM because they have the sizing machines
