What to ask to your supplier

Hi,
I am soon going to list my first product, however I am still indecise regarding which platform use to find the right supplier. Looking on the forum I have noticed that many people don’t advise to look on alibaba, however I don’t know where else to look for for my particular product, as is nothing fancy and producing it in uk, Europe or US is really expensive and I will only loose money. I understand that I need to find a supplier really high ranked with maybe a reliable address and website, but what should I ask as invoice or proof of my purchase?
What does Amazon ask regarding it? I want them to ship directly to Amazon, and I don’t want to pay further if for example they don’t accept the supplier.

Thank you

Hi it depends what the product is to were best but UK is not already more expensive I’m guessing your just starting out but you can design to manufacturer in UK for say textiles and wood design with 3d markings cheap enough.

Ordering from abroad for some items can be cheaper for some things, amazon wi ask for an official invoice and not the likes of a commercial invoice and the business needs to be contactable and searchable you need to make sure they are registered - finding a reputable supplier in China is not easy.

I would advise against sending stuff direct to amazon u till you have had a few shipments as you need to check authenticity and packaging markings etc. Depending on product.

The other issue is amazon has restrictions on QTY inbound so some items you can only send 20 you will probably find a new product depending on catagory will be between 50-200 units.
