Why is my postage not added?
I have sold a few products on Amazon and yet it keep on telling me the price of a good without the packaging cost (when they are in another country).
I have used the shipping settings and it still doesn’t seem to update.
I have also tried to add Hermes as a carrier, but it doesn’t update either!
Please help

If they are ordering from one of the non-UK sites, then you need to add shipping info to the template on that site. The UK shipping template only covers orders from the UK site.
Or are these orders from the UK site?

I just can’t figure out how. I am on Amazon Europe and the template talks about international shipping, but it isn’t updating the “migrated template”

I have basically gone through each country and gone to settings than edited the shipping template? I think that is it?
However, looking at my items I am not sure it’s updated…

sadly I can’t work out how I am supposed to add to the template or through manage inventory

Hi
As you sound like you are a new seller on Amazon, as a long time seller, it’s a bit of a nightmare sending from UK to EU countries since Brexit. We have actually stopped selling to other EU countries, until (IF) Amazon get a grip on working out the VAT / Taxes that EU Customers now need to pay. Amazon seem to be taking these taxes OFF the seller, rather than ADDING them onto what the customer pays. For example, you sell an item for £10 + £7 shipping to Germany. The German rate of VAT should be charged to the customer on top of the £10 (so say it’s 20%, becomes £12). But instead what seems to be happening is Amazon are deducting the VAT from your price, so rather than you, the seller, getting the full £10 for your item, youre only getting £8! ABE and Biblio seem to have got it figured out correctly, and charge the customer extra on top of the selling price. Amazon have not. As such, we have removed the EU from our seller marketplaces.
To remove an EU marketplace, go into your account via ‘Settings’ (top right hand corner of my screen), then ‘Account Info’ … then look for ‘Listings Status’ (on left hand side of my screen). Click on the ‘Going On Holidays’ and deactivate the other EU countries (but keep the UK one).
Selling to EU from UK has loads and loads of pitfalls. Royal Mail Click and Drop are getting better, but have issues with parcels over 2kg and not applying the IOSS number, meaning EU folk end up getting hit twice with VAT and handling charges …
Keep it simple, stick with UK to UK selling till you get the hang of it and do loads of reading up on how to sell to the EU.
You really don’t want to be loosing money at this point, and good luck, and wish you well in your venture.

Thank you for the replies, it means a lot when people take time out to help.
So, let me get started on the postage, in what has been ten days from hell.
I had 5 orders today and I looked again at each order and it seems I did add the postage from yesterday. My total sales (before any fees) was 115e (£100, give or take). So I assumed look at my global sales that the amount I would have from Amazon is £85, give or take. It is £75 and I find that ridic.
There’s small glimours of hope in that Hermes offer cashback. But Royal Mail are currently restricting to Germany and France.
Ebay previously accepted my account then have permanently banned it. Even though I have not added one single product and give them all they need. Can I try again? I am not sure.
The initial order to the wholesaler I used was a joke. They had an IT error which meant they took payment FOUR times and I was missing £4k for six days.
I was at buy box of 67% yesterday, now it’s 3%.
One of the orders from today was an item that hasn’t been sent. So far I have cancelled more than 50% of the orders and worry what Amazon will do.
It is, dare I say it, turning into a disaster.
I am hoping I can start again with Ebay (but that’s hopeful). Maybe Etsy or wish and see how it goes from there. But right now, I can’t say things are great and I am struggling to sleep.

I was already thinking the same - I just need to work out how to do it.
Sadly, the wholesaler hasn’t been great throughout as it is. I’ve spent two hours searching for these products which may also mean another cancellation.

So I put my account on holiday for the time being earlier today.
However, I received another order from Germany overnight. I checked the global sales total, which was £9 and the item was £9. I looked at the order shipping details and it shows that I have added postage.
I mean wtf is going on?

As an additional thought, have you made sure to account for currency conversion?
Seller_CUs6cobAjKDF7
I am probably like a broken record with all of this now.
If my postage doesn’t show in global sales, then where does it show? As in the order details it is showing.
As for currency conversion, I have definitely taken it into account - I charge 9e for delivery.
But it’s also becoming a pain with all these documents (Brexit?)
