What are the chances of getting this neg removed
A customer has just left a neg saying he was promised a refund but hasn’t had it. I’ve never had a message from him to say his order hadn’t arrived or that he wanted a refund, I think he’s got it mixed up with another order. I’ve replied to that effect but what are the chances of getting it removed since SS should be able to see that he has never contacted me?

I’ve had this exact thing - feedback went as far as to suggest item didn’t arrive so I offered a refund. My policy is to always offer replacement first and check the customer’s address with them first.
I had no message from the customer, and Royal Mail tracking showed the item as delivered.
Amazon wouldn’t remove the feedback on the basis it was a INR, and there was no response from the customer.
Really frustrating given the evidence is quite clearly there.

You could always send a polite message by letter bto the customer by royal mail post (recorded delivery) explaining and showing evidence of them not having contacted you, just in case they made a mistake. You could attach instructions on how to remove feedback at the same time. No pressure though as that would not be acceptable. Dont bother with an email as they are not easily found by the customer and seldom read.

Small seller like us NO CHANCE TO REMOVE feedback
