The BEST Prime Day Strategy
Zero ad spend, zero coupons or deals, zero price manipulation. Its Prime Day for Amazon, not for small sellers. Let them fight it out for the click that won't convert.

Hi @Seller_OEXTZlrEJxOck,
Indy from Amazon jumping in here. I have to say this is quite an interesting take. If you find this works best for your business model, that's totally fine. Thank you for taking the time to write a post about your personal experience.
Best,
Indy

Hi @Indy_Amazon, we also follow @Seller_OEXTZlrEJxOck's strategy for prime day. It works great for our business model as well.
Also Prime day used to be a "day", not a week long sale. That changes the strategy too.
Make Prime day just a "day" again, and you might have more sellers excited with it.
But @Seller_OEXTZlrEJxOck is correct, it's basically for Amazon only, as the fulfillment fees and commission fees that Amazon charges their sellers makes it tough to compete.

This is exactly what we do, maybe if amazon jumped in with some fulfillment discounts etc we would engage---- but right now they just want us to sell our products for less because they made a day out of it

Please roll out "final sale" to regular sellers. We're okay with fewer sales, but not okay with being robbed by scammers who swap products, replace components, etc.

I noticed definite pickup in traffic and orders during prime days, 0 spend, 0 advertising.
