Selling globally from Amazon UK account

Hi all,
I have Amazon UK seller account and i like to sell in USA market. I am new to the business and have not yet VAT registered.
So having sell globally, how the tax will be handled in US?
or should i open LLC and create a new Amazon Seller account on US address details etc.

Someone who has experience, please suggest what will be the better way for a UK sellers to approach Amazon US market?

many thanks,
Kam

I know nothing about selling in US, but stop before you do anything and thoroughly research before jumping in especially as you say you are e new seller.

First of all, where are you based ? - are you in UK ?

Hi JillyB1,
I have been selling on Amazon for last 2 years, started 2021, so i still consider myself new to this. Yes based in UK but my business is staying under 85k but since brexit UK market is shrinked and to sell the products in europe, i need to have VAT registered in each of the european countries so i was considering US market as i only have to manage one big region and tax liabilities.

Amazon EFN is good but its not good customer experience as a seller you pay higher fulfillment cost and you can not be compeate the local market sellers.

So i was looking for a suggestion if someone is selling in US market on their UK amazon account.
Is it better to open a new amazon.com account on newly registed LLC and US bank account or it will be better to use the Amazon UK account and sign up for the US account.

Hey @amazon_newbee,

And I’d strongly suggest that you follow @NEil’s strong suggestion. @NEil know’s his stuff.
