Hello, I am receiving the below error when trying to add a new product (a product that is not sold on Amazon).
Problem with your Seller Account
You’re currently unable to add or edit listings because either the credit or debit card on file is invalid or it is in the process of validating, which could take up to 24 hours. Ensure that you have a valid credit or debit card uploaded in Account Settings.
I currently have a valid Mastercard added as a charge account. It was added and verified over a week ago. I have so far tried:
1. Removing credit card and re adding it
2. Adding a different credit card (discover)
Neither has resolved the issue and still not allowing me to add a new product.

Have you tried updating it on the buyer side as well? Sometimes updating it there first works.

Trying adding either card to you Buyer side of the account and then re-adding it to Seller side.

I had this problem a couple days ago. My credit card had the same message even though it had been on file for 2 years and still had 4 years til expiration! I ended up just adding a different card since the bank said there was no issue with the card on their side and Amazon had no answers either. Hoping this resolves my problem for good...It has worked the last 2 days, so who knows

Thank you for reaching out. I see that our selling partners have provided some great resources and guidance for the credit card issue. When you register as a seller, you will be prompted to enter a credit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.
The following Credit Cards are accepted:
- American Express
- Diners Club
- Discover
- JCB
- MasterCard
- Visa

Check and make sure that Amazon did not get your card restricted for possible fraud by adding charges to you from the AMZ Brazil website. They did that to us.

They did this to me too. They automatically enroll you into international and thats where you have to adjust your CC information. Brazil was giving me the issue.
