location based shipping ship from UK but no longer recognises cutoff UK time

So two things happened without any apparent notice. Firstly Amazon added our USA returns only address as one of two locations that we ship from AND changed us from 5-8 working days from both our UK and this USA location. I have around 70 orders that might be a day late and our OTDR (currently 97.7%) will handle the hit , frustrating though it is. I have deleted our USA address as a ship from location, however .... see bleow

What does bother me is we have 0 days handling set as default at 4.30pm UK time , but since the announcement of these new location based shipping times cutoffs seem to align to EST USA time rather than UK local time. As as a result of this we appear to be able to shop out up to 10pm USA time. I have disabled Premium Shipping Options and I could ovverride each of our current sku specific from 0 to 1 (many say 5 days on browser view but thats a whole different topic) but this would show us with a later delivery window and lose us many buyboxes.

There are workarounds for this, none of them ideal, and additional manual work. Just wondering if anybody else experiencing this.

With best wishes
