FBA label gun?
Anyone got a good recommendation for an FBA label gun? Applying these barcode labels by hand takes a while, there's gotta be an applicator out there for time saving, initial search has not been fruitful
Currently using an address label format i believe, sheets of 30 labels 1" x 2-5/8" but as long as amazon won't be picky I'm open to changing the size

We were just discussing this. When we started we were using the same address labels you are. We moved to having them printed on rolls a few years ago so that the label quality is better. (I wanted to go to just using the UPC barcode but it involves too much headache for the amount of stock in FBA at any given time.) We may be ordering one of these to see if it speeds the process up. We use a Dymo 450 to print FNSKU labels onto 30334-sized labels. We've been using this from Tach-It for *years*.....B01ISREFL6 Just thread it correctly and use one hand to pull down the label backing while the other pulls off the label. Then we started doing more single SKU high volume shipments and I splurged and bought these label guns. B00G9QYPWI. Yes, they are pricey, but really sped up labeling and the employees like it better. Win. Win.

Thank you @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY and @Seller_0rXAME9V4LQSx for those Label Gun suggestion for @Seller_r2svD1GeNZLqX. I know other sellers out there must have their own tips and tricks, and I hope they add to the discussion.

I Don't think "gun" is feasible for this size label. It would also take you more time to load labels on the short runs. Most industrial printers will have label peeler and can print on demand once label is removed. They are pricy though.

Zebra label printers are great for this. You can get a peeler attachment for them and it will print one at a time. You put in the qty you want to print and it prints and peels a new one as you take them.

I STRONGLY recommend you move away from sheet labels. The toner will get "rubbed off" and you will have a very big problem with "unreadable bar code errors" at Amazon. We switched to the Zebra LP2824 and buy those thermal labels 10,000's at once. This is so nice because they are "perfed" between each label and we print the EXACT number we need for each Unit. We save all the files on our hard drive, so when it comes time to send in more units, it takes mere seconds to Open > Print a roll of labels and they are so FAST to apply to products!
Dymo printers are complete garbage. They are not designed for HIgh Volume, nor do they "burn in" the labels nice and dark. On the Zebra (install their software) you will get more settings. We changed them to 14 Darkest, and slowed the speed way down to get a nice crisp label. Also you MUST have a bar code scanner and test your labels, Amazon gets really upset if they can't scan your labels :-)
Please note Amazon has rules for certain products, the stickers must be removable. Those labels are more expensive, but you can get them here on Amazon. If you are selling higher end stuff where the packaging matters, or it's for Gifts, the stickers need to be removable (non-permanent adhesive, no residue left behind, easy removal).
Hope that helps!

I am not endorsing these exact products as I have never used them, but I have been eyeing them for a while: Automatic Label Dispensers. Some links below. Although not a gun, I would assume it still saves a lot of time. The machine continually spits out a new label saving you time peeling stickers off a roll/sheet. I have not bought one yet, as my volume isn't all that high.
Also, as others have said, you should using a direct thermal printer (if you aren't) and print on rolls of labels. The text lasts longer. They are also easier to peel if you are peeling and sticking by hand.

Zebra GX420d. Peel and present labels are a game changer. Look them up on youtube.

I would love it if there was a software that we could just scan a UPC and it would automatically spit out the FBA label. Similar to the old scan and label function that Amazon used to have but more efficiently.
We sell a lot of very similar items and this would eliminate labeling errors and reduce the time to find the correct product labels on a sheet.
