Account Deactivated Due to Misbranding

Our accout was deactivated due to several ASINs having the incorrect brands. We have tried to appeal 6 times and each time we got rejected. We have submitted invoices from the manufacturers, authorization letters, copies of emails, and plan of action. One of the suppliers is located overseas and maybe Amazon coudn't get ahold of them but it's unclear. It's not giving us an option to talk to the account health specialist anymore and we are not sure what else we can do.

Hello MW_SPT,

When a seller has a valid Letter of Authorization, the account is typically reactivated within 72 hours. Since you mentioned that your LOA was denied, I'd like to suggest reviewing the following information that should be included (but not limited to) in a proper LOA:

Identification of Parties:

  • The full name and contact details of the seller (the party granting the authorization)
  • The full name and contact details of the authorized individual or company

Scope of Authorization:

  • Clearly define the specific tasks or activities the authorized party is allowed to perform on behalf of the seller, such as:
  • Communicating with buyers
  • Negotiating sales terms
  • Signing contracts
  • Handling shipping and logistics
  • Collecting payments

Duration of Authorization:

  • Specify the start and end dates of the authorization period, or indicate if the authorization is open-ended.

Limitations and Restrictions (if any):

  • Outline any limits or restrictions on the authorized party's actions, such as maximum order values, specific product categories, or geographical areas.

Signatures:

  • The LOA should be signed and dated by both the seller and the authorized party to ensure it is legally binding.

Please review the LOA provided by the rights owner to ensure it includes all the necessary information.

Thank you for contacting us! The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

I wish you all the best,

-Nikki
