Shipment in UPS limbo. What can I do?
Shipped two boxes via UPS on April 28 and they have not been tracked since May 1. A check with tracking on the UPS site says there is a delay in Jacsonville, Florida.
I called Amazon and they refused to open a case and said I could open a claim in three months. Called UPS and they said they weren't the shipper, Amazon is since I bought the postage on Amazon Seller Central through the shipping plan.
How to get help looking for this shipment?
Who, Amazon or UPS, will be responsible for reimbursement.
Is there a way to buy insurance on future shipments?
I did find a variety of links about how to file for reimbursement from Amazon. Moving forward, I am going to start a file of all the relevant information for each shipment so it is handy if I need it. The carrier drop off receipt and invoices that prove the cost of the items in the shipment, for example. What else do you recommend that I do?
Thanks, in advance, for any help you can offer.
