Amazing how Amazon are wrong (ODR)

I ship a item to the adress the customer enter on Amazon and couple week later the item bounce back to me with the mention that the adress doesn't exist. I write 2 times to the buyer and she never reply.

Few day later i have a A-to-Z guaranted notification about this order and again i explain the case but off course they regind the customer. Im ok with that but they give me a Order defect on my account.

I try to contest but Amazon still let this ODR.

I'm having a similar problem right now.

We shipped to the address Amazon provided to us on the order.

Customer messages us that they didn't get it.

We ask the customer to confirm the address, and they provide an address in a different city than what was on the original order.

Customer files an A to Z claim, and we lose the claim and it hits our Order Defect Rate, and Amazon keeps the money.

Like that is fraud. We shipped to the address Amazon asked us to ship to, you can go into buyer seller messaging to see where the customer provided a different address than what was on the order. And then Amazon blames us and keeps the money. That is fraud and illegal.

Hello @Seller_zwIvpDzTGOPDB,

In order for me to escalate the issue with our A-to-Z Team, I will need the Order ID/Case ID.

While I cannot promise a change in the decision, I can at least submit it for a second review.

Looking forward to your reply.
