I have heard Amazon is not going to allow tape on poly bags, need adhesive poly bag or resealable
Has anyone seen this requirement? Self-adhesive poly bags will be the new standard and sellers should no longer tape their own poly bags? I have been looking everywhere for this but have not seen any communication. But I have pretty good thirdhand info on it.

Seems unrealistic, but not impossible. For years I have seen items I've purchased directly from Amazon come in self-adhesive poly bags.

If it's from one of the "newsletters", then it's likely unreliable. Such as the one that said that FBA shipments couldn't be over 35#.
Saying "self-sealing" doesn't cover it. For many items, the bag is not exactly the size and shape of the item. Without additional tape used to fold over the excess, the bag would exceed the 3" rule of excess, which IS in the Amazon policy.
Unless it shows up in a notice FROM AMAZON, I think it safe to ignore rumors like this.

Greetings @Seller_ginprHDNLtB4y,
I've received no communications on this, but will update you here if I hear differently.

How could that work? Poly bags don't fit perfectly every item. No possible way
