HELP with my Brand Listings -- I keep having to prove GTIN & Brand Auth over and over -- exisiting listings get suppressed as "details page" gets deleted
Hello all -
I've been selling printer ink under the brand name ' Ink-Power ' for a few years now. I'm the creator of all the listings and the only one who sells under it.
It used to be that I had to renew my GTIN exemption and brand authorization (with photos of the product, etc) perhaps once a year...
Lately, my brand authorization approval (latest Amazon ID ID 15622010061) seems to allow me list freely for a day or so and then I must go through the entire process again, which usually involves many cases opened/calls to Amazon support. Sometimes I really have to fight for hours to create a new listing.
Moreover, Amazon sometimes suppresses my existing listings under this brand by deleting the "details page." When I try to type in a short description (which isn't necessary as I have all the info in bullets and other areas on the listing) it won't recognize the changes because I'm not recognized as the brand owner... it's infuriating -- I'm the one who made the listing!!
But magically, sometimes the issue resolves itself and the search suppression is lifted without me doing a thing. What on Earth is going on?

Hello, @Seller_BlkJnrWnC5CGI,
Thank you for letting us know about this situation. My name is Sunnie, from Amazon.
I reviewed your case, and this is the resolution from 1 month ago:
You are allowed to list the Products Globally (across all Marketplaces) for the requested Brand Name “Ink-Power”. Please allow 24 hours for the changes to be reflected post which you can list products on Amazon. You can complete the ASIN creation using your preferred listing method.
For the technical issue you are describing, the first step to have it resolved would be to create a Support case with as many details as possible:
- The problem described in detail, including the exact text of any error messages and whether those messages appear in the browser window or in a separate pop-up window
- The page URL where the error occurred
- If applicable, the exact text or data you entered into a form that triggered the error
- Your browser type and version (such as Internet Explorer 8 or Mozilla Firefox 3.5.9)
- The operating system you are using (such as Windows 7 or Mac OS X)
- The complete URL that appears in your browser's address field
- A screenshot of the error message, if available
Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. If you don't get the help you need, please come back to share your Case ID with me, and I will gladly look into it.
Regards,
Sunnie
