Product identified as a permanent eyelash or eyebrow dye or tint. Case ID 16791737971 and 16791702821
Case ID 16791737971 and 16791702821
Amazon incorrectly identified the microblading pigment I am selling as a permanent eyelash or eyebrow dye or tint product, which are not approved by FDA and not allowed to sell on Amazon.
The product I am selling is a tattoo pigment that microblading/permanent makeup artists (a specialized kind of tattoo artist) use a tattoo machine or microblade to tattoo the pigment into the skin. This process is very different to eyebrow tinting.
The policy warning further states: If your product is not a permanent eyelash or eyebrow dye/tint and you believe this determination was in error, please provide all of the following required documentation for review: (1) photos of all sides of the product packaging, (2) photos of the instructions for use included with the product. For more information please see: <link removed>
I submitted photos of the product and instructions on the bottle. Our appeal was rejected.
I have tried to re-appeal providing more explanations on the difference between tattooing eyebrows and tinting eyebrows and we just keep getting the same templated response.
Does the community have any suggestions on how to convey the difference to Amazon so they would be willing to investigate further?
