Chargeback incorrectly counted against order defect rate
A buyer opened a chargeback claim after their return/refund had already been submitted and was being processed by the payment provider. This chargeback is being counted against our order defect rate when it should not be.

Hello @Seller_aQOd4cfCdJTFr,
This is Josh from Amazon. Thank you for contacting our Forums!
I understand your concern about the chargeback claim affecting your ODR when a return/refund was already in process. Please note that once a chargeback claim is filed, it needs to go through the standard chargeback process, which can take up to 90 days from the date of representation to the issuing bank for a final resolution.
For detailed information about the chargeback process and how to respond to these claims, please visit: Respond to a chargeback claim
Please note that our Support team must follow established chargeback policies and cannot expedite this process.
Best regards,
-Josh
