Buyer asking for expedited shipping fee refund when package arrvied on time
Never had this happened before. A buyer purchased a $15.99 item and selected next day air for $29.99. Order was shipped and delivered on time through Amazon Shipping Services. Buyer now wants a refund for the next day air shipping fee, but wants to keep the item. We explained that the order was delivered on time as per his shipping speed selection, but he continues to insist on getting a refund for the shipping fee.
Should I tell him to file an A-to-z claim with Amazon for the shipping fee? If granted, will Amazon cover the shipping fee?

Why should he get a shipping refund? That's not the way it works!
Personally, I wouldn't tell him anything. I'd mark further messages from him as "No Response Needed."
You can be sure that if you hand that over to Amazon, YOU will be out the shipping fee. Neither you nor Amazon should have to pay it, but, if given the choice, Amazon will be glad to hand the bill over to you.
But it's senseless because this is NOT what A-to-Z claims are for. I don't think @Joey_Amazonwas helpful here. Or he didn't understand the issue.
