Variant Size name messed up on site

We sell window blinds and shades, recently, amazon changed how to display the size name on site.

Here is the response from amazon support.

For certain categories on Amazon, attribute values typically associates with variations (such as size, color, model, etc) may be normalized to a specific value that is more recognizable to customers.

For example, 4K Ultra HD, Ultra HD, and UHD may be normalized to 4K on the detail page. We are unable to modify this value for individual ASINs, as it is automatically applied to all applicable ASINs in the category.

Every applicable ASIN under this category needs to have the same value for this attribute to ensure the best customer experience.

However, for the same sizes, amazon display two different size format.

For example:

ASIN: B00QXEBIR6

Existing size: 60" x 22"

but other color show size name: 22" W x 60" H

Which confuse the customer to order the correct size from us.

https://www.amazon.com/Arlo-Blinds-Cordless-Tuscan-Bamboo/dp/B077XGC3RN/ref=sr_1_5?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.vmzxny0bbhWk6wIJrd6-YK-Y2kx4VyktIxhBZVAoQxi2kxETI2VxTQNgm0TFlv_r5JbTA95Q4PCotz_941_hLPisxagZpbpj1reXOEMsMqc7LNcojtDKX5cVkPws3t9mORBqU-Elu9wk6EHcsP5kJWPjHJ5Fp9OoOWH4DSgcND9lhe1-oiJgqiyVO2q6guOIXBM2CWKQpmMPe2tsSu2qSVUVDv0Vdr7RxukebSs2lqgVGLChRpId5i36lJafRTAfTbd1k70ch5X39wNGeiQ2Bk__6s-bXwoLMiiotO4uWV0.5rTV3QeyLkKlLtXY21h3se8Ak2ffGWTbJU_J-duyQ3A&dib_tag=se&keywords=arlo%2Bblinds&qid=1727976421&sr=8-5&th=1

we created many tickets, however, only get the standard reply below, there is no way for us the fix the wrong size name.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Good Evening @Seller_anznFfNAZ0wCb

This is the 3rd case we have seen regarding sellers requesting assistance regarding the dimensions of the blind dimensions changing on them. I have already reached out to one of our internal partner teams to gather additional insights into the dimensions of blinds and why they are being listed L x W versus W x H. I will follow up with you as soon as I hear back from them. Have a wonderful rest of the week and take care.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Morning @Seller_anznFfNAZ0wCb,

It appears that L x W size normalization went into effect last year per this news article: Size normalization now includes more product types.

The partner team shared this help page -->HERE<-- that shows WINDOW_SHADE are now LxW in inches/cm if you look under the section, 'List 2 - Size is derived from item weight, dimensions, capacity, and other catalog attributes' line item 60.

I hope that helps provide some clarification on the new dimension. Please let us know if we can help answer any more of your questions or you may reach out to Selling Partner Support at anytime. Have a terrific rest of your Tuesday.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Evening @Seller_anznFfNAZ0wCb & @Seller_rAk5oYJIwiBSw,

I just wanted to follow up with you to let you know the team has updated the dimensions to W x H for all ASINs that have their product types as WINDOW_SHADE.

If you do not see your ASINs automatically updated, you can update the dimensions and number of items to "1" on the listing template and then save it (that should trigger the listing to update automatically however please remember sometimes changes take up to 48 hours to be reflected).

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the information shared above. Have a fantastic rest of the week.
