FBA for low cost items
I'm trying to list a low cost item about ($1-$2) that is in a 3oz package about the size of a standard letter envelope. However, when I use the fee estimate calculator, it says the FBA charges will be $3.31, obviously exceeding the cost of the item. I see many items listed on amazon that are small cost items such as this, some even with Amazon same day delivery. Does anyone have any advice or direction to articles on how you sell low cost items such as this using the FBA option?

It looks like you just learned a saw an example of how proift margins are fluid on Amazon. Sure if a seller sells that item FBA they take an L on it. But having that listing be can be net positive holistically.

Hello @Seller_8FKUfejsc4Epb Thanks for checking in about Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) fees.
I can't speak for any specific seller or items being sold through FBA, but I can confirm that you're doing the right thing by investigating fees before making a selling decision.
Below are some links with information that can help you make informed selling decisions.
