Letter of Authorization
Over the past year (that I have reviewed) I have noticed a similar reply to questions concerning a LOA (for short) At each junction where an Amazon representative has stepped in to offer some sort of answer, for the most part it in general referring to IP infringement. I myself along with many others in this space already understand the legality and requirements to manufacture and sell products using someone elses brand/IP. The help section provides extensive requirements for such a venture. As is with many interactions with Seller Central the same answers come back with concerns to selling someones already issued/licenced Brand. These are two separate issues being blanketed under the same response.
Let it be clear that my question below does NOT refer to the manufacture and sale of someones IP. I am not looking for a reference that can be found in the help section under Letter of Approval. I am however looking for an approval letter sample, or more information that is required from the manufacturer/brand otherwise known as the "Rights Holder" that allows sellers to sell their product on the Amazon marketplace. (As reverenced in the Intellectual property policy for sellers under:) c. An authorization letter from the rights owner.
Can someone provide direction on the requirements as explained in detail similarly (under letter of authorization to manufacture and sell) for the sale of items directly from the rights holder/brand? Is that clear? I need to provide accurate information to the rights holder to supply Amazons team (god only knows what one at this point) the correct form/letterhead/verbiage/signature/date/ whatever it might be that will allow me to move along continuing the selling of this particular brand.
