FBA lets you keep your rank.. even if you don't deserve to!

Some background: I sell used books and media on Amazon FBA. It's pretty important to provide accurate conditions and details so potential buyers know what they are getting. I noticed, however, that my competitors are able to get away with anything if they ship FBA. Take a look at A++ Products on Amazon for example. Most like comment that they items they receiving are in terrible condition (stains, rips, excessive highlighting, etc) but when it's FBA you can remove the comment with a few clicks. This lets them get away with selling inferior products without making the rest of the market aware of their "actual" rating.

How does Amazon justify covering up this behavior? Do you understand that those buyers will likely never buy a used product on Amazon ever again? Why would they after getting burned by crap products. And theres so many of these stores.

If Amazon really cares about customer satisfaction, stop covering up for this behavior. People should know that they're taking a greater risk buying from them. Let their stars take the hit they deserve.
