Amazon Ads

Hi,

This may well be a stupid question but if i do not currently hold the featured offer status (due to being outpriced) would running ads be a total waste of money?

Is this likely to promote the product for other sellers rather than actually provide me any benefit?

Thankss

If someone clicks on your ad they will be taken to your listing on the ASIN but Amazon will display a message in/close to the box listing other sellers saying 'this product maybe cheaper from other sellers'

Convenience driven customers will just buy your listing and checkout, price driven customers will click away from your listing to the cheapest option. Some Amazon savvy customers may request partial refunds down to the best price, leave poor reviews or outright return items if they discover they didn't get the best price.
