I SWITCHED FROM AN INDIVIDUAL ACC TO PROFESSIONAL ACC AND GOT A SECTION 3 NOTICE??
So on the 22nd of April i switched to a professional acc as i want to increase my inventory and take it amazon more seriously. I got hit with a section 3 notice for no reason. My account is healthy also. i was told to submit identity documents on the 22nd. It has currently been more than 7 days and i have had no response from amazon about the submission of the identity docs. I even rang customer service and they told me to wait a couple more days (on the 22nd) . Can anyone help me please

If you originally opened an Individual Seller account, then that is ONLY for selling off your own personal second-hand items (such as books, DVDs, CDs etc) and NOT for NEW goods. - individual account is not the same as sole-proprietor. Professional is just the name of the selling plan,(where you pay a monthly fee of £30) not the name of an account type (legal entity) and is not the same as a BUSINESS Seller account. If you plan to buy goods to sell on for profit you need a BUSINESS Seller account, and be registered with HMRC (maybe you already are ?)
