Not allowing me to get ungated
Hello, i have purchased products, directly from the manufacturers website, and have provided an invoice of 10 units, but despite me showing the email from the manufacturer with the required invoice, i am still getting hit with:
-- We cannot accept this Invoice because we are unable to verify the transaction with the supplier. Documents must be authentic and unaltered in order to be verified.
-- We cannot accept the invoice that you provided because we are unable to verify the transaction with the supplier.
I dont understand, what more information could i possibly give?
It is an official invoice from the manufacturer. It has all their details on it, why is it not possible for them to verify this?
Any help would be appreciated, seeing as all attempts to speak to amazon seem automated, even live chats, reading a script.
Thank you.

So do you mean that you went to the manufacturer's public facing retail website and made a purchase? In that case, you have a RECEIPT, not an invoice.
Unless you established an account with the company, providing your business and tax license info, you are not making a wholesale purchase, which is what is required. Note also that many brands will allow you to purchase wholesale for sale in your B&M store, or maybe even your own website, but to not allow sales on Amazon. So you likely also need a Letter of Authorization for most brands.

"i have purchased products, directly from the manufacturers website,"
All you had to say was that you bought it on their website. Pay attention to what @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwtold you.

NO, it is a RECEIPT!
We cannot accept this Invoice because we are unable to verify the transaction with the supplier.
THAT is because you do NOT HAVE an invoice!

Consider yourself lucky that you have not already been suspended permanently!

THE AMAZON TWO STEP -- A NEW DANCE FOR SELLERS
More and more frequently Amazon is taking a TWO STEP approach and you are probably caught with not doing one of the steps (or either one!)
You are likely confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon may have ungated you for a CATEGORY but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.
AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
Additionally, brands that you COULD sell yesterday may be restricted today or next week. Amazon is a moving target to deal with.
DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?
If you have an LOA that specifically says you can sell on Amazon you MIGHT survive this.
More and more brands are providing such a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK? You DO have a sales rep at the brand, don't you?
NOTE the verification is required from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT from one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products" that assures you that they are authorized.
If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.

Pay attention to this recent story in the Amazon 'news' from September 25, 2024.
Sellers were given a 5 day warning that this was being put in place. Sellers have posted that LOAs are required in Europe, so you can see the handwriting on the walls -- this is coming for EVERYTHING on Amazon eventually!

Hello @Seller_D5W2jxk2kAHAQ,
Amazon requires approval to sell in many categories, brands, and products and in some instances restrictions and policies change. In most situations, a direct invoice from the manufacturer is required. As @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApand @Seller_nRFmxiQg4EGrwsaid, it needs to be a valid invoice directly from the manufacturer and not a receipt.
A letter of authorization (LOA) can also be a valuable addition to your appeal in these situations if you’re sourcing directly from the brand or their manufacturer.
You will find more details about this using the resources below:
