Tracking Shows Delivered - Any seller protection?
My buyer says her box was left open by the carrier and all her mail from that day was missing. I filed a usps insurance claim.
I use shopify to print labels, not amazon. Do I get any buyer protection or will I lose this case no matter what?
Also, I don't use amazon labels because I don't see a way to print a manifest. Is there a way to do that? My carrier likes having the one manifest to scan.

also, it takes so long to do labels on amazon because i have to manually enter the package size on every order, is there a way to set this to a default?

Unfortunately, since you didn't use Amazon's buy shipping, you aren't covered under Amazon's buy shipping guarantee if they file an A-Z claim.

Yes, you can do this under your Buy Shipping preferences here. Click the edit button next to Preferences for all ship-from locations, and you can add your package dimensions. The one on top is selected by default.

USPS won't pay out since the package was delivered.
As sellers, we are not responsible for porch pirates.
I would make sure to file a missing package inquiry on the usps site also (HELP>Find Missing Mail)....this gets the buyer on USPS's radar in case they are a repeat non-receiver ;) If there are multiple issues at the address, the USPS may start holding his/her mail for pickup...
Let the buyer know you are working with the USPS Postal Inspector to find their package...that usually scares the scammers off.
Unfortunately, since you didn't buy shipping on Amazon, if they file and A to Z you are out of luck.
