"Labelling Required" Shipment Defect
Hello,
For some time now, we have been receiving "Labelling Required" Defects on specific products on Amazon CA.
We now label over the barcode of a product with a FNSKU label that needs it, then poly bag the product, and label the bag. Originally we just bagged the product and labelled the outer bag. Since receiving these defect notifications we have switched to labelling twice, as per Amazons instruction, but we are still receiving these defects which has put our defect rate at 3.4%...
I always dispute the defect, some are accepted and removed, but many are rejected, with an image of Amazon placing their own barcode over the product and the description:
"This image shows that the label on the unit matches those labels that are applied by Amazon at the FC. This image confirms that the existing label needed to be replaced to track the inventory correctly."
This product has been set to use Amazon barcodes, which requires that the Amazon-specific FNSKU label be placed over the UPC barcode. For this item, your FNSKU is X003UZSZ4V and can be printed from the `Label Products` page when you create a shipment, or at any time from the `Manage Inventory` page. The UPC is only sufficient if the item has been set to use manufacturer barcodes."
I can't work out how to get around this. We don't receive any of these notifications on Amazon US despite following the same labelling process.
Is anyone else experiencing these defects and has a way around them?

This issue you're experiencing is specific to Amazon CA. I recommend you to contact the CA Seller Forums for this by navigating to the "Country Selector" on top of the "Start a discussion" button.
