Account Deactivated due to legal entity
I recieved a notification saying "Your account has failed our verification process." and also stated "You have incorrectly selected the individual legal entity during registration of your Selling on Amazon account. To proceed with the account verification, you have to register with the correct legal entity"
The account was decativated and cannot be reactivated. I have gone through thhe following 4 steps:

1) clicked "reactivate your account" button in account health.
Note: there is no "View Appeal" button as the help says there should be.
2) The next page shows no links or buttons but redirects to a message "Identity Information. Your accounts has been restricted.... contact us"
3) the "Contact us" link opens Get Help with two options 1) submit an appeal and 2) get help from Account Health Support.
Option 1 takes me back to step 1: Account Health
Option 2 opens a web form where I can write the description of the issue and give a mobile phone number for a call back. I entered the details and submitted.
4) A case is opened, and within 1 minute it is closed with an auto reply saying "the email address is not the correct channel to submit an appeal..... if you want to submit an appeal click on "View Appeal button next to the deactivation record" in Acount Health. " i.e. return to step 1
There is no such button visible and this the page i started at in step 1.

This process is curcular and at no point is there an option to submit an documentation of change the legal entity selection, the account is deactivated and there is no way to reactivate.

If you are buying (or making) goods to sell on for profit then you MUST have a BUSINESS Seller Account - the legal entity - not the Individual Seller Account, even if it is just you. Individual is not the same as sole-trader.
Also, if you are in UK you MUST by law be registered with HMRC as self-employed. This needs to be done before you can change the legal entity, as Amazon will need your UTR for your business seller account.

Try writing an email to this email: resolution-seller@amazon.com It should be a professionally written email in which you address the issues which Amazon has raised and you will prove that you have addressed them. These issues you can check them from your performance then click on to performance notifications tab. All the information which you need to reactive will be available here.
First locate the root cause of deactivation by reading and going through all the notifications. It's a simple process but for first timer slightly complex. If you are not able to do it yourself, outsource and hire people from upwork or other websites. These services are available, will cost you though.
