Something has gone awry with my listings - has anyone else had this?
A couple of days ago I woke up to find that I had sold a book to a customer in the United States.
All well and good you might think. Lucky you, you might think.
The only problem is that my delivery options have been set at "UK only" for some years now. So how on earth have I sold a book to someone in the US? Of course the book is pretty weighty and, of course, I will probably lose money on it.
I checked Settings and realised that the Shipping Settings had been changed. So I changed them back to "No" for International deliveries. The only problem is that does not seem to have had any effect on my listings which are still showing as being available worldwide. I try and edit the listings to "un-tick" the relevant boxes but that has no effect at all either. I am confused (as ever) - has amazon changed something that has had unintended consequences? Have Amazon changed something with regard to inventory and shipping that I have completely failed to notice (not for the first time)?
I have opened a Case with Amazon and I hope that they will look into it. I am just wondering whether this has ever happened to anyone else.

It sounds like you are on the Individual Selling Plan - so normally, its just a basic tick box in Shipping Settings.
However, sometimes, for whatever reason, your individual listings have an override - check some of your individual listings in Manage Inventory as well.

Since 06th Feb this year all my book listings have carried an Express carriage charge of £8.98 rather than a standard postage fee of £2.80.
This obviously makes all my recent listings un-competitive with others when listed with carriage included.
It is something which Amazon have done and not an alteration made by myself. I cannot find out how to prevent it. I am aware that as I am not a Professional account holder, I cannot therefore set my carriage charges myself but every time Amazon makes an alteration to the second hand book purchase process they make our exposure less and if this is improving the customer experience I'm mystified. The whole process seems skewed to sell Amazon New items.

Hello @Seller_fI98YPWEKqfLJ
Have you tried disabling the International Ship options at SKU level?
In Manage Inventory, simply click on edit for any listing. Once on the edit page, navigate to the "offer" tab, and towards the end of the page, you'll find Shipping Settings that need updating as well.
However, it seems there's still an ongoing problem for sellers trying to update the page, as changes don't appear to save.
Just checking if this is a different issue from what you experienced. We're currently looking into this with the partner team.
Thanks for sharing your insights. Regards, Ezra
