Tax Id Verification (In Progress) INFORM CONSUMER ACT - Account at Risk of Deactivation
I recently submitted my INFORM Consumers Act verification using the same information as last year. However, a few days later, I received a warning stating, "Your account is at risk of deactivation," with the Tax ID verification still in progress and no actions available except to wait.
Looking into the screens all is verified except the Tax information saying ( In Progress) so I re filed form and got the green confirmation at the end of process. But when going back to Tax Information the banner and in progress status is still there.
This is very worrying banner , and probably a glitch .With Thousands invested in stock im at more risk of not knowing what's going on.

I have the same issue. I called Amazon seller support and was told that I needed to enter my VAT/GST number. However I am a canadian selling on Amazon.com. My number is a Canadian 15 digit number and it states I need a 16 digit number. I called the IRS and they are just as confused about this as I am. HELP!
Is this a problem with just Canadian sellers on Amazon.com???
