Selling supplements Testing requirements
Hello All ,
So I have taken a break for couple of years from selling on Amazon and my niche was not supplements either. However now I want to work towards creating my own brand for dietary supplements and I have seen that there has been a policy update where third party testing is required. Now I do understand why it has been updated and that it is a necessity however I cant seem to find any information of approximate price for these tests I am aware the seller has to pay for this but I have no clue if getting into Amazon and supplements is feasible at all does anybody have any insight on the cost of these tests. As I would like to purchase for example a 1000 units of certain supplement it will be all compliant with food safety standards and etc. HCCAP ISO certificates... But lets say i Spend around £10k on supplements for a 1000 units of gummies 90x per bottle... How much am I paying for testing is it 1k 5k 10k 20k? It does not say these prices anywhere what so ever?

The best way is not to ask here, but simply give Underwriters Laboratories a call and ask. Although FBA will say it may not be necessary, Amazon will ask for the COC from a USA based Lab. They probably do this simply to keep new sellers in that area off the site. Simply the way Amazon works.
