Who are amazon verified suppliers?
Hello,
Anybody knows who are Amazon verified suppliers?? or Whom Amazon consider verified suppliers for sourcing products( specially for generic products) ?
As far as i know most of us source from Alibaba and amazon don’t accept the commercial invoices provided by them .
When I tried to ask the representatives they don’t have the idea either instead they advice to consult the lawyer while sourcing etc… I mean like WHAT?
so any one has any explanation please help here.thanks

Amazon verified suppliers are any supplier that Amazon has actually verified.
It really is as simple as that. There is no list of them anywhere, if that’s what your looking for.
But common sense dictates what a suitable supplier is.
A registered wholesale/manufacturer type business.
As to everyone sourcing from Alibaba. I very much doubt that everyone, or even close to everyone does. There are literally thousands of other suppliers in the UK, let alone China.
As to commercial invoices, no company should rely on these. They are not proper invoices.
A commercial invoice is an export document that serves as legal evidence of a sale transaction between the buyer and the seller.
It is not a proper invoice as such and any supplier who is not willing to provide a full invoice, is one that you shouldn’t be dealing with.

I have been self employed in retail for over 15 years now, and I have never sourced anything from Alibaba.
I doubt most people do… Most people are probably sourcing products locally, this whole source from Alibaba is a Youtube get rich quick scheme - most people I know don’t want the hassle of importing, working out taxes and dutys, shipping rates, waiting weeks (or months) on delivery, not to mention the insane MoQ that they usually require…
As mentioned by Neil, there isn’t a list of verified suppliers, its more can Amazon verify them…
So do they have a website that only sells to trade.
Does the website require a login before you can view prices
Does the website contain their address and phone number etc
You will need a proper invoice, not a proforma or commercial one - like Neil I can’t understand why a genuine business would not supply this

I learnt this sourcing method so I couldn’t find any whole seller in uae market. so this is my mistake may be because it seemed like most of the people are sourcing from china.

Been selling in Retail too for over 30years 
Since the UK has come out of the EU ,many sellers just sell to the UK only, to save all the faff of selling abroad . Never bought from China, Don’t believe all you hear on Ewe tube .
