FBA orders pending for 3 weeks

Hi,

Just wondering if FBA orders should still be in pending for 3 weeks? Usually after a few days of pending merchant fulfilled orders, they'll drop off but I've got some FBA orders from 3-4 weeks ago still pending.

Just wondering if FBA orders should still be in pending for 3 weeks? Usually after a few days of pending merchant fulfilled orders, they'll drop off but I've got some FBA orders from 3-4 weeks ago still pending.

For FBA orders specifically, there are a few common reasons for extended pending status:

  • When buyers qualify for free shipping and the order is waiting for all items to be gathered
  • When the order contains multiple items and one item is out of stock
  • Even if Amazon divides the order to send in-stock FBA units, the order may still show as Pending

While 21 days is the maximum typical processing time mentioned in Amazon's guidelines, FBA orders can sometimes remain pending longer due to these inventory-related factors.
