Account Deactivated Due to Section 3 - Invoice Issue

Hello everyone,

I purchased products from a distributor and sold them on Amazon. However, my account was deactivated due to a Section 3 policy violation. Amazon requested invoices and documents to verify the authenticity of the products.

I submitted all the required documents without any omissions, but my appeals have been repeatedly denied, and my invoices are not being accepted.

In this situation, would it help if I obtained an official confirmation from the brand owner verifying the authenticity of the products and submitted this along with my appeal? Has anyone experienced a similar issue or has advice on this matter?

I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

Struggling with an appeal can be frustrating and confusing.

I will try and provide some general guidance. For greater detail concerning your specific situation, please provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification. With that information and the help from an internal team, I am able to research in greater detail.

To verify the Authenticity of an item, the invoice needs to be from the Brand. If you are dealing with a distributor, they should be able to provide a Letter of Authorization, proving they have the rights to sell the item knowing it will be resold again. Please review: Letter of Authorization There are VERY specific requirements in a legitimate LOA.

If your invoices are not being accepted due to authenticity concerns, YES, if you have a Letter of Authorization from the Brand itself, that is what you would need.

Please look into these help documents also: Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation and Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements

I hope this information helps you with your next steps. For additional information, please provide an ASIN, Case ID or Performance Notification.
