If you do just be careful that you don’t use any potentially offensive pages!

Yes, but (a) paper is heavy and (b) maybe shred it just in case the recipient takes offence at the content?
Edited to add: at least newsprint can be recycled and does less damage to the environment

As a customer I never liked that.
If they are shredded then its okay IMO.

We usually use paper that is left from
label printing. Very clean and never run out.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

The issue I have is that the large boxes I buy are a standard size but are ‘just’ too small to fill the way i’d like, which means the second best stacking layout leaves a pretty big void to fill.

So after using the newspaper tonight I saw the ink on my hands and pretty much decided it might not be the best to use.

While i’m on the subject of packaging, for anyone who sells in the UK…where do you source your boxes from? I use a large online supplier, but I have a good feeling i’m paying a premium. What ever happened to supermarkets dishing out cardboard boxes with free will?!

I tried using old newspaper copy, but found the printing cost too high, so now I just use the plain copier paper

We used to use recycled paper rolls (the cheapest) from Kite Packaging, which we’d scrunch up like newspaper, to fill voids at my last job.

It wasn’t much for a roll and went a really long way.

My boss was stingy as hell but he was ok with this which I says something.
