Buy Shipping Defaulting to Evri

We send all of our orders (bar large orders) via Royal Mail tracked. We use Buy Shipping so that we are (supposed to be) protected against defects if we receive an A-Z claim or negative feedback regarding delivery.

However, we've noticed that Buy Shipping is always defaulting to Evri and we're having to change the 'selected service' to Royal Mail for each and every order.

Is there a way to change who the default courier is for buy shipping? We have gone through our Shipping Settings and even if I set up 'Shipping Settings Automation' and only select Royal Mail 24/48 tracked services, it still defaults to Evri.

It looks like buy shipping is defaulting to the cheapest method available but even when we negotiated better rates with Royal Mail, Amazon then lowered the rates for Evri so they still come up by default.

Any help/advise would be hugely appreciated.

Whenever I use buy shipping it is always Evri that comes up as the first option, but you just need to click on see all other options to display all RM options. I am not sure if there is a way of setting RM as default ?

You do realise you do not need to send everything tracked ?, and simply not worth it for items below £20 value, especially when using Buy Shipping.

You can prioritise which carriers are shown in Buy Shipping - I now only see RM as an option after having done it ages ago.

Details on how to do it can be found in Seller Help, here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/G202086070?mons_sel_mkid=amzn1.mp.o.A1F83G8C2ARO7P&mons_sel_mcid=amzn1.merchant.o.AFHCABRU46B73&mons_sel_persist=true&stck=EU

Just scroll down to "Preferences for carrier prioritisation"

I think you have to have an unshipped order to be able to edit preferences, but once done that should carry through to all orders
