Well, this is new! What would you do? HELP!
Here is the story:
The order is shipped on time but having issues with UPS now.
When the order is tracked on UPS, there is no update so Amazon thinks that the package is not shipped at all.
When the order is tracked on Amazon, under the order page, there is an update that says "Package delayed in transit" but there is no location input. On top of that, there is no package is accepted input before when UPS received the package.
Also, the package is shipped from CA and shipped to CA. It should have been delivered 1-2 business days.
The last update was on the 14th and today is the 20th. Obviously, UPS messed up and they don't show any tracking updates now most shipments of mine.
In short, received a claim and lost it but I don't know how to appeal to that with a clear explanation. I used "Buy Shipping" and I should have been protected for claims but I cannot prove that I shipped the package on time because of UPS and their tracking discrepancies between "Amazon.com" internal tracking tool and "Ups.com" track my package webpage.
I don't know what to do and how to appeal to it. Do you?

Hello @Seller_xOl9BuQiOqQJf
Thank you for visiting the seller forums. I am sorry for the delay in my reply to your original post. Unfortunately, as the volume of packages handled by UPS increases over the holidays, many packages are lost in the system.
When you know a delivery is lost by the carrier, despite it not being your direct fault, you still have an obligation to refund the buyer because they did not receive their delivery, and it was not their fault either.
I am sorry for your situation, and I do thank you for selling on Amazon.
Susan
