Help with IP unban
Hi everyone,
I need help with a suspension I recevied earlier this year in June, 2024. I have been selling on Amazon since August 2023. I have had some previouis IP complaints but they were all warnings and told me to get off the listing because I did not have approval. In late May I received a notifaction that two of my products had gotten IP banned from the textbook company. I know it was my fault because I didnt ask for approval but I had been selling textbooks without a problem for months. These two books received 3 IP complaints, 2 of them on the same book. I been fighting to get my acccount back for 6 months now but have had no luck. I asked the brand directly but they wont help me and I submitted a 8 step plan to seller support but they wont accept it.
Some of my previous IP complaints got rescinded by the brands themselves, however this still has not fixed the issue of my ip bans.
I have tried everything I could to get the account back so I was hoping anyone here could provide any insight?

Amazon gives sellers one chance to heed the warning. If not acted upon sellers are suspended. Amazon is not a good place to sell textbooks. The publishers do not want them on the site new or used.
The bottom line is that Amazon cheapens the price on everything. Textbook publishers want their prices to stay high so schools and universities will pay and sell at top price
The only way to be reinstated is to delete all of your textbooks, find a new product to sell, purchase the new product from the manufacturer, write a well-crafted appeal, and use your manufacturer's invoice as supporting evidence that you have changed your ways.

Most likely the brand is the one who reported you to Amazon, as that seems to be the way it often goes. You won't suddenly get permission from the brand because you asked for it. Likely, you burned your bridge with them. Without their permission, you can't sell your books. Amazon won't reinstate you as you did not heed your warnings. My curious mind wants to know, why didn't you do something the first time you were warned?

I appreciate you posting about your intellectual property complaints.
So you are aware, a plan of action cannot be accepted in any form for this situation. A plan does not provide proof of compliance or prior authorization as required to properly dispute the situation.
Surrounding the serious concern of not having authorization and prior warnings of the situation, we will require a letter of authorization issued to you by the brand or rights owner. The only other option would be if the brand retracted their complaint, but you would need to work with them externally.
Please do not, purchasing new products that you are not authorized to sell would only waste your time and money, as it would not support you in anyway. Even outside this situation we will only accept new invoices upon request from our review teams only, and in very rare situations.
As stated at this time to be eligible for reactivation we will require an LOA, or retraction from the brand or rights owner. Without these the account will remain deactivated.
