📉 Amazon Vine Program Glitch? Paid $200, Gave Away 30 Units, Got Blocked After 4 Reviews! Anyone Else?

Hey everyone,

I’m an FBA seller and recently enrolled my product in the Amazon Vine program. I paid the $200 enrollment fee and supplied 30 units, expecting to get honest feedback and reviews from Vine testers.

But here’s the issue — only 4 reviews came in before Amazon slapped the listing with this message (see attached image):

“Amazon has noticed unusual reviewing activity on this product... We have limited verified purchase reviews.”

Wait... what? That’s the entire purpose of Vine — to have people review the product! So why is Amazon blocking reviews that I literally paid for and gave away units for?

This feels incredibly frustrating and like a complete waste of money and inventory.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there a fix or way to escalate it?

I would love to hear about your experience or any advice you have.

Hi there @Seller_if5dWSb5xTdMj

I'd love to look into this but do need a bit more information in order to do so!

If you haven't already, I recommend opening a Seller Support case while providing the ASIN information and then send me that case ID so I can investigate.

Pay attention. "Unusual reviewing activity" is a reason to suspend your seller account forever. So: no family, no friends, no agency, no "safe" methods, no social media groups. Amazon's AI sees ANYTHING you do on internet. If you get more than 2-3% of ratings and reviews the system will analyze because suspicious.

I don't believe that Vine reviews are also concerned. But create a case with seller support and ask if neither Vine reviews are permitted.

This is so confusing, VINE is supposed to prevent bad actors from reviewing the product. Keep us in the loop!
